PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Elegance, clarity and cool-climate expression define the Henschke Innes Vineyard Pinot Gris 2025, sourced exclusively from the long-established Innes Vineyard in Littlehampton in the Adelaide Hills. This elevated site, shaped by sandy loam over weathered shale and clay, produces low-yielding fruit of impressive concentration, purity and aromatic depth. The wine reflects Henschke’s vineyard-first philosophy, guided by sustainability, biodiversity and gentle handling to preserve the natural character of the fruit.
Pinot Gris has been grown here for over 25 years, with the Innes family tending the vines season after season. The combination of altitude, cooling slopes and finely textured soils results in small, flavour-packed berries with remarkable perfume and delicacy. Each parcel is monitored closely for even ripening and expressive varietal definition, ensuring fruit of striking intensity and finesse.
Winemaking is restrained to honour the cool-climate origins of the vineyard. Fruit is hand-picked at optimal ripeness, fermented in stainless steel for purity and matured briefly on lees for subtle texture and savoury complexity. The 2025 vintage reveals a poised and fragrant Pinot Gris with lifted florals, stone-fruit generosity and spice-driven detail, showcasing Henschke’s hallmark balance of precision and quiet refinement.

REVIEWS & ACCOLADES
“Excellent intensity of fruit here. Quality is announced from the outset. Pear, apple and chalk characters, a touch of florals, a tonic aspect. This Pinot Gris is straight, clean, well-flavoured and attractive from start to finish.”
