Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Extra virgin olive oil is the highest recognised grade of virgin olive oil, produced mechanically without refining and subject to defined chemical and sensory standards.
The collection includes Platana Extra Virgin Olive Oil in several formats, from smaller 100ml and 250ml bottles through to 500ml presentations.
Produced from Manaki olives, Platana offers a distinctly Greek expression of extra virgin olive oil suited to finishing, dressing, dipping and everyday cooking.
Choosing an Extra Virgin Olive Oil
A good extra virgin olive oil can be used well beyond salad dressing.
Use it raw with bread, tomatoes, vegetables and cheese; finish grilled fish and meats; add it to soups and legumes; or incorporate it into everyday cooking where its flavour can contribute to the finished dish.
