Domaines Ott Bandol -  Château Romassan

Château Romassan - The 90 hectares of vineyards are split between the AOC’s eight communes and planted on marl and limestone soils that are particularly well suited to the appellation’s star variety, Mourvèdre. The solid structure of Mourvèdre is complemented by the deep fruit of Grenache and the softness of Cinsault.
Domaines OTT Château Romassan Rosé delivers a fruity roundness, that is complex with a mesmerising texture and lengthy finish. Wine Advocate writes ‘scents of crushed stone accent notes of peach, strawberry and lime on the nose, while the medium-bodied palate is silky in texture, streamlined in shape and extremely long on the finish.’

Domaines Ott Côtes de Provence - Clos Mireille

The history of the Clos Mireille site dates back to 1936. Founder, Marcel Ott fell in love with a very old property in La Londe Les Maures, not far from the Mediterranean coast. The property was built by the Benedictine monks in the 18th century, today the location is a showcase of Provençal art de vivre.
Domaines Ott Clos Mireille Rosé is made from Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle (Vermentino), Syrah the classic grape varieties of the Côtes de Provence AOC. Vinous states, ‘this is a gorgeous Rosé today, yet it should evolve beautifully for years.’

It is an author’s wine, stepping outside the official appellations, declassified approach is for the free-thinking wine artisan. Jean-Francois explains, ‘this is a great wine for the future and for sharing, which connects us to our terroirs and tells our story.’
