      The first WhistlePig product to be finished in Vermont Estate Oak, the WhistlePig 15 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey is also one of their oldest whiskeys bottled. Harvested from their farm, the wood has more rings than the standard American Oak used in whiskey barrels. This provides more opportunity to impart deeper flavours during maturation. 

      This nose is rich and deep with dominating aromas of vanilla, oak, and caramel, followed by hints of burnt orange and allspice. A rich, warm, and slightly creamy palate with baking spice and butterscotch blended with hints of tobacco and leather. An ultra long and warm, rich finish.
