The 86-proof WhistlePig 12 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey has been matured in New American oak then divided into one of three directions. Maderia casks, Port pipes, and French Sauternes barrels all play a part.
The resulting whiskey has caramel, vanilla, and winter fruits aromas. The palate is has apricot, dates, honey, plum, raisin, and rye spice flavours. A dark chocolate finish blended with caramel, vanilla, and winter fruits.
