The Macallan Harmony Collection Rich Cacao Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700ml

This is the first release of Macallan's latest limited edition series the "Harmony Collection". The Macallan Edition No. 6 was the final release in the now legendary, annual limited-release Edition series.

The Harmony Collection's inaugural release, Rich Cacao is a single malt which was made in collaboration with legendary Spanish chef and chocolatier, Jordi Roca of Casa Cacao and El Celler de Can Roca. The sublime chocolates produced at Casa Cacao inspired Macallan Whisky Maker, Polly Logan, to delve through Macallan's maturing whiskies, searching for those with rich, chocolate notes and produce a whisky that captured the essence of what she tried at Casa Cacao. Furthermore, in homage to its chocolate influence, The Macallan Harmony Collection Rich Cacao is presented in a 100% recyclable gift box, made using discarded husks from cacao pods.

Made using a harmonious combination of ex European sherry and American oak casks this whisky was developed to pair with rich chocolate. A nose of chocolate fondant, honey, oak lead to more dark chocolate, honey, vanilla and cinnamon on the palate with a long rich chocolate finish.
