Sydonios glasses and decanters are uniquely elegant and feather-light. Only the ancestral method of mouth-blowing makes it possible to craft the finest glasses. The oenological precision of Sydonios glasses is unrivalled, thanks to an innovative science-led approach involving more than 100 fine wine experts. With the inception of Sydonios in 2017, Antoine Schwartz and Baptiste Larbre set out to preserve the ancient and inestimable tradition of mouth-blown glass, in true artisan style. In the words of Founder Antoine Schvartz “The idea of creating a glass, that really felt like there was no intermediary between the wine and the taster, just kept coming back to me”. Today, 40 of the 61 Cru Classé estates in Bordeaux’s 1855 Classification use the Sydonios range at their tasting rooms and restaurants.
Crafted in the image of the Universel glass, the curved contours of this decanter are intended for Champagnes, white wines and delicate reds. Its refined form and slight diameter make for simple handling and service. The decanter is designed to stand easily in a refrigerator door, to keep your wines at the right temperature.
This decanter is made of lead-free crystal and are also dishwasher-proof which is convenient. However, when hand washing it is recommended to use hot water without the use of detergent.
