The mastiha tree is tapped, the resin is collected and dried until hard. It's then mixed with alcohol and distilled to extract the flavour, and finally sweetened and adjusted to bottling strength of 30% abv.
Skinos Mastiha spirit conjures aromas of the Mediterranean hillside covered with wild herbs like crushed juniper and freshly cut mint leaves, like aromas of rain soaked cedarwood and violets. It's slightly sweet yet fresh, with delicate flavour and balance that makes it extremely versatile.
