Roseblood d’Estoublon Rosé 2024 presented here in a magnum format is a refined Provençal rosé from Coteaux Varois en Provence, crafted as the flagship cuvée of the Roseblood range. The wine is produced under the guidance of Technical Director Victor Joyeux, with fruit sourced from hillside vineyards in the heart of Coteaux Varois en Provence. Its blend brings together Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Rolle and Sémillon, combining classic Provençal freshness with aromatic lift and elegant texture. Grenache contributes roundness and delicacy, Syrah adds depth and colour, Cinsault brings finesse and fruit, while Rolle provides tension, freshness and floral nuance. The vineyards sit at elevations of around 1,100 to 1,600 feet, where the mild continental climate helps preserve balance and brightness in the fruit. Red earth soils with flint and gravel contribute freshness, expression and mineral character to the wine.
The 2024 vintage in Provence was shaped by a cool, wet spring followed by a hot, dry summer, resulting in lower yields but healthy grapes with strong aromatic potential. Harvest began in late August, producing rosés described by the producer as aromatic, fruit-forward, fresh and lively in character. In the glass, Roseblood d’Estoublon Rosé 2024 shows a luminous pale eau-de-rose colour with hints of peach and melon. The nose is expressive and delicate, offering raspberry, wild berries and white flowers. The palate is bright and harmonious, with citrus notes leading into a tense, elegant finish. Stylish, fresh and subtly complex, this rosé is well suited to garden salads, sesame tuna, spinach ravioli, seafood, light Mediterranean dishes and refined warm-weather dining.

“Flowers, minerals, pink cherries, orange peel and a hint of crushed stones on the nose. Clean and crunchy, with a medium body and a bright, citrusy finish.”
“A fragrant, floral rosé, with a burst of watermelon and strawberry lemonade notes. Maintains vibrant energy from start to finish, with a saline mineral foundation offsetting the creamy fruit. Balanced and delicious, showing a waft of smoke on the well-meshed finish.”
“The 2024 Rosé Roseblood impresses with its depth and focus, delivering an enticing blend of spiced cherry, mint and apricot. The finish kicks in with noticeable white pepper grip, lending some seriousness to this otherwise lighthearted wine. It's a style that works, that's for sure.”
Château d’Estoublon is one of France’s most remarkable estates, recently launching Roseblood d’Estoublon, the most dynamic luxury rosé on the market. Roseblood reflects a legacy of excellence, a commitment to the enchanting Provençal landscape, and the vision of its exceptional team. Founded in 1489, Château d’Estoublon is already renowned for its award-winning olive oil (Best in the World 2022 and 2023) and is one of just 93 members of the French committee of leading luxury brands alongside Hermès, Chanel, and Louis Vuitton.
In 2020, the estate was acquired by Jean-Guillaume Prats, former CEO of Cos d’Estournel, along with hands-on partners including musician and global influencer Carla Bruni, her husband Nicolas Sarkozy, the former President of France, and entrepreneur Stéphane Courbit, owner of several five-star hotels and the Ladurée macaron company. This dynamic ownership group has expanded the estate to encompass 340 hectares of vineyards, complementing the existing 300 hectares of forest, olive groves, and gardens.
Roseblood is a unique rosé that embodies the rich history and cultural significance of its estate, infused with the passion of its surroundings and its owners, epitomising the Art of Living in Provence.
In the heart of Coteaux Varois en Provence, Roseblood’s vineyards sprawl across hillsides at elevations of 1,100-1,600 feet. The vines thrive in a mild continental climate, where gentle autumns and springs alternate with occasionally torrid summers and colder winters compared to the rest of the region. The region’s red earth soils, complemented by pockets of flint and gravel, impart a harmonious blend of expression, freshness, balance and roundness to the wines.
In this blend of four emblematic Provençal grape varietals, each plays a distinctive role: Grenache contributes roundness, delicacy, and subtle aromas, while Syrah adds power and colour. Cinsault, known for finesse and fruity notes, gently balances the strength provided by Grenache and Syrah. Rolle, the iconic white grape of Provence, introduces a touch of tension, freshness, and floral notes to complete this well-balanced blend.
Raspberry, wild berries, white flowers, peach and melon.
Citrus, red berries, delicate fruit and elegant Provençal tension.
Bright acidity, mineral freshness and lingering floral lift.
