It’s medium-bodied, soft and approachable, with fine-grained tannin, a minty black and red fruited succulence, balanced acidity, and while it’s kind of juicy, it also has the rather fetching autumnal character about it, along with a chocolate box richness, and a finish of excellent length. A little raw almond carries on the finish. Supple, charming, and very nice to drink.”
