Piccini Prosecco Rose Venetian Dress

Piccini1882 includes five niche farms of Italy, all organically run, and its brand is classified as one of the most distinguished Tuscan brand in the world. Today Mario Piccini leads the company, supported by his sisters Martina and Elisa, together with his children Ginevra, Benedetta and Michelangelo who are personally involved in the business activities.

A playful and sensual Rose coming from the Veneto area, joins the premium Prosecco Piccini range. Venetian Dress Rose, has a soft sweet red fruit bouquet supported by a delicate and persistent perlage. A prestige Limited Edition directly related to the individual and unique weather conditions of this vintage. Glera, used for Prosecco wines, and Pinot nero grapes are harvested and vinified separately. Venetian Dress Rose is the resulting blend of different selected Glera cuvee with a small addition of Pinot Nero, red wine. This noble grape variety adds up body and complexity to the floral and elegant Glera based wine. The Charmat Method is defined by a slow second fermentation and a prolonged aging period in pressurized tanks. This process helps enhancing the wine’s red berries fruit and rose petal flavours, typical of Pinot Noir.
