      When Giovanni Patritti sailed from Genoa, Italy in 1925 he thought he was destined for California in the USA, where he would meet his sister. Mistakenly, he boarded The Palermo, bound for Port Adelaide. Thus accidentally marking the start of the Patritti story in Australia.

      Patritti Merchant Pinot Grigio 2022 vintage was crushed and destemmed, the free run juice was cold settled then cool fermented in closed stainless steel fermenters. With minimal intervention the wine was then stabilised before bottling to retain freshness and vibrant varietal flavours.

      Pale straw colour with greenish tinge; notes of freshly cut grass, capsicum and kiwifruit blend with tropical aromas of passionfruit and lychee. The palate is refreshing and crisp with a lovely acid line. Flavours of lime, kiwifruit and passionfruit linger long after the wine is swallowed.
