      If there is one popular series of Nikka whiskies, it is the Black series. With this new Black Rich Blended version, Nikka masterfully blends whiskies from its distilleries in Yoichi and Miyagikyo to produce a whisky that is very smooth and delicate.

      Black Nikka was launched in 1965 as Nikka's premium blended whisky, now, with its new Rich Blend, Nikka is appealing to those who have been drinking their whiskies' highball style for a while and are ready for something more..... well, "richer". 

      Black Nikka Rich Blend is made from Miyagikyo malt, with non and low proof, with a high proof Yoichi seasoning, with key components matured in ex-sherry casks. The complexity of the malts - sweet and full-bodied - is balanced by the lightness of the Coffey grain whisky. This is a completely different profile to the standard 'Black Nikka', smoother and more elegant.
