Mount Mary Pinot Noir 2017
Mount Mary Pinot Noir 2017
Pinot Noir was first planted at Mount Mary in 1971. The original block is 1.2 acres with more than 20 different Pinot clones planted on the site. The nose on this wine is dominantly primary fruit to begin but display more complexities with time in the glass. Cherries, raspberries, and stewed strawberries to begin, followed by beetroot, dark chocolate, hints of marzipan, and spice. The palate is medium-bodied but defined by the underlying length and intensity of the flavour. Running confidently through the wine is a fine grain of tannin.
Enjoy this wine now or allow it to beautifully age in the cellar for 10 plus years.
