Midleton Very Rare Irish Whiskey 700ml 2025 Vintage Release is a milestone annual release created to celebrate 200 years of Midleton Distillery. This prestigious Irish whiskey is crafted from a rare selection of single pot still and single grain Irish whiskeys, reflecting the house style of elegance, balance and complexity. The 2025 vintage was created under the direction of Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman, who selected exceptional casks from Midleton’s historic A2 Warehouse. This stone warehouse dates back to the 1860s and is reserved for some of the distillery’s best-performing whiskeys. For the first time in the collection’s history, the 2025 release brings together six distinct distillate styles. These components were chosen to honour generations of craftsmanship while marking the distillery’s bicentenary.

The whiskey opens with classic Midleton refinement, combining orchard fruit, sweet grain character, pot still spice and polished American oak influence. Aromas of caramelised apple, toffee fudge, vanilla, garden mint, lavender, cinnamon and nutmeg create a layered and inviting profile. The palate is textured and elegant, showing honeycomb, soft fruits, citrus, orchard fruit and gentle herbal detail. White pepper and a mild chilli oil note add lift and energy, while treacle, toffee, vanilla and sugar-glazed fruits build richness through the mid-palate. The finish is rich and lasting, with fruit slowly giving way to oak and pot still spice. Presented as a limited annual vintage release, this 2025 edition is both a collector’s bottle and a refined sipping whiskey for special occasions.
