      These days the Maxime Graillot Equinoxe Crozes-Hermitage 2017 is sourced primarily from a mature, gravelly and organically farmed site in Pont de l'Isère that has not seen any herbicides or pesticides for 10 years. This site is owned and managed by a good friend and neighbour of the Graillot clan, enabling the vigneron and producer to work very closely together to achieve the highest quality. It is this recent collaboration that has seen the Equinoxe cuvee reach ever greater heights. 

      Graillot's penchant for maintaining freshness and delicate extraction has served him well in this excellent vintage, a vintage so good Marcel Guigal was moved to tell John-Livingstone Learmonth, 'In 55 years, I've never seen anything like it.'
