Kavalan King Car 40th Anniversary Cask Strength Single Malt Taiwanese Whisky 1.5L

Kavalan take pride not just in producing whisky but also creating an experience. This single cask whisky has been created to celebrate the 40th anniversary of King Car Group. This special drop expresses the group’s persistence, striving and glorious growth over the past four decades, while honouring the soaring Snow Mountain lying at King Car’s heart.

Powerful and dense with rich notes of exuding dark-skinned Cabernet Sauvignon fruit, strawberry, spice and flourishes of fresh charred oak. Thick layers of toffee-rich berry fruits, enlivened with flares of spice, notably pepper, clove and tobacco, all brought together with a magnificent wine character. Master blender Ian Chang said: “It’s been aged in a very rare red wine cask whose majesty transfers to a richly intense whisky, delivering very distinct berry flavours and luxuriant toffee.”

Matured in a single red wine cask and bottled at 56.3% and presented in a 1500ml a glass decanter with a Bohemian crystal whisky glass inside of a leather and wooden presentation box .
