Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish Single Malt Taiwanese Whisky 1 Litre

In ancient times, the land around I-Lan in Taiwan was called Kavalan, a mysterious land that was solely inhabited by the indigenous people of the Kavalan clan. The name was officially recognized by the Emperor of the Chin dynasty in the year of 1809 when the original city was also built under the same name.

Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish Single Malt Taiwanese Whisky was first matured in specially selected American oak casks followed by time in Portuguese ruby Port wine casks. A mellow flavour comes from the time aged in barriques and adds an indefinable smoothness to the whisky. 

The whisky is a brownish red colour in the glass. Flavours of tropical fruitiness with coconut, candy floss honey, and vanilla. It's  palate has a rich body with natural sweetness and complexity. The Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish pairs indulgently with chocolate, making it even more delicious.
