      Houraisen Kanjuku Umeshu is a Japanese liqueur made from Ume plums steeped in alcohol and sugar. A perfumed nose shows hints of rose petal, marzipan and apricot. Best served chilled and/or on ice.

      Established in 1864, Sekiya Brewery Co Ltd has been producing Sake under the brand name Houraisen. It was established in the Prefecture of Aichi, about halfway between Tokyo and Osaka.
