Hentley Farm Quintessential Shiraz Cabernet 2018

Established in 1997 as a single estate boutique winery, Hentley Farm is located in the rolling hills on the west side of the Barossa Valley. They produce exceptional wines and memorable experiences. 

The fruit for the Hentley Farm Quintessential Shiraz Cabernet 2018 vintage was de-stemmed, with 60% left on skins for 55 days, basket pressed French oak, 35% new – 65% old and left for 20 months of maturation.

Excited that the Barossa continues to champion this iconic Aussie blend. Boysenberry, liquorice stick with a minor amount of warmth. Fine tannins and earthy core but underlying fresh acidity and whack of grippy tannin to give some grunt and precision on the back palate.
