Product Description
The 2021 vintage was challenging for Burgundy, with significant temperature fluctuations and an early spring that was followed by a damaging frost. Despite these challenges, the summer months brought a mix of rainy spells and heatwaves, which were balanced out by the cool autumn temperatures of September. This late-ripening period allowed for the grapes to develop vibrant flavours and a beautiful fruit expression. Though volumes were reduced, the 2021 Beaune Teurons 1er Cru Rouge showcases a refined and expressive wine that highlights the floral fragrances and depth of the vintage.
This wine pairs excellently with grilled veal tenderloin, wild boar stew, and is a perfect companion to autumn dishes featuring venison.
