The Cullen Wines Diana Madeline 2024 is a distinguished Margaret River Cabernet blend that continues the legacy of one of Australia’s most iconic biodynamic estates. Named in honour of co-founder Diana Cullen, this flagship wine is sourced entirely from the historic Cullen Vineyard in Wilyabrup, where vines planted in 1971 thrive on ancient gravelly granite soils. The 2024 vintage reflects the estate’s unwavering commitment to biodynamic viticulture, precision farming and minimal intervention winemaking under the direction of Vanya Cullen. Hand-harvested across multiple vineyard passes, the fruit underwent extended skin contact before gentle basket pressing and maturation in a combination of biodynamic French oak barriques and puncheons.
The final blend comprises predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon supported by smaller portions of Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot, creating a wine of structure, perfume and layered complexity. The 2024 growing season delivered excellent concentration while preserving the natural freshness and energy that define the Diana Madeline style. Aromatically expressive and deeply composed, the wine reveals dark berry fruit, floral lift, graphite and finely integrated oak spice. The palate combines precision with power, framed by refined tannins and vibrant acidity that carry through an exceptionally long finish. While already captivating in its youth, the wine possesses the balance and pedigree to cellar gracefully for decades. It is an exceptional companion to premium beef, roast lamb, wild mushroom dishes and mature hard cheeses.

“Brilliantly structured, the texture is sleek and seductive with succulent fruit throughout. The wine is very, very long and finishes with the silkiest of tannins. A wonderful Margaret River Cabernet which will sail through the next twenty years.”
“This is very concentrated and power-packed, and begs to be left alone for several years before broaching, and will pay off big time if cellared. Hide it away to get your full money's worth. A glorious cabernet blend of outstanding potential.”
Cullen Wines is one of Margaret River’s most renowned and pioneering wineries, founded in 1971 by Kevin Cullen, who was instrumental in recognizing the region’s potential to produce world-class wines. Today, the winery is led by Kevin’s daughter, Vanya Cullen, who became Chief Winemaker in 1998 and has since continued to push the boundaries of quality winemaking while championing sustainable, biodynamic farming practices. Cullen Wines is dedicated to producing wines that reflect the unique terroir of Margaret River, and their exceptional wines are crafted with meticulous attention to detail, from vineyard to bottle.
The Cullen family’s commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation has garnered the winery a reputation as a leader in the Australian wine industry. Cullen Wines is a proud member of Australia’s First Families of Wine, a prestigious group of iconic family-owned wineries, and has earned numerous accolades for its premium wines, which are celebrated for their purity, complexity, and elegance.
At Cullen Wines, the philosophy is rooted in a deep respect for the land, with a strong focus on sustainability and the belief that great wine begins in the vineyard.
