Camille Giroud Bourgogne Blanc 2018
At Maison Camille Giroud, a diversity of terroir allows for delicious variety. From perfumed, plush reds to perfumed whites; their precise wines are made from plots all across the famed Côte d’Or – what unites each parcel is a signature precision and character.
Maison Camille Giroud Bourgogne cuvées always offer outstanding value for money and highlight a talent for producing wines that are greater than the sum of their parts. This year the blend includes some fruit from selected plots located in the Clos de la Combe in Puligny-Montrachet, in the village of Corpeau which adjoins that of Puligny-Montrachet, in the Côte de Beaune and in the Mâconnais. The whole cuvée was fermented and aged in barrel, with just over 5% new oak. Fresh and crisp, with surprising concentration, this is an excellent entry point to white Burgundy.
