Brokenwood Graveyard Shiraz is one of Australia’s most iconic single vineyard wines and arguably the greatest Shiraz ever produced in the Hunter Valley. This bottle of 2000 Graveyard Shiraz comes from the cellar of a collector who is a friend of Kent Street Cellars. Gary Walsh had the following to say about this wine back in 2006 - “Could easily be a classic in the making, and has all the hallmarks of a great wine – balance, length, control, savoury fruit seamlessly woven through ripe dense careless power. Maybe there is too much oak and for Hunter Valley classicists, too much alcohol too. But on its own terms, this wine is outstanding” 96 points
This is right in its ideal drinking window right now, a classic example of the power, precision and incredible length of great Hunter shiraz.
