To create the Bladnoch Adela 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, their award winning master distiller, Ian Macmillan, hand selects every cask to bring together this expressive single malt. Adela, translating from Latin to rich and noble, signifies the depth of this special whisky matured in ex Oloroso Sherry casks.
This non-chill filtered whisky is copper gold in colour. The nose has aromas of sultanas, rich rains, and hints of wood spices and orange peel. The palate rich with sweet spices and dried fruits, followed by chocolate, sweet cinnamon, raisins and sultanas. A rich and long finish with with a slight dryness.
