The 2025 Australian Whisky Advent Calendar is a curated collection of small batch drams from 25 independent distilleries across Tasmania, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. This year’s lineup leans into single malt, with a focus on expressive cask finishes and distinctive house styles.

Now in its eighth year, the calendar has become a fixture for whisky collectors and curious palates alike. From boutique operators to rising stars, each 30ml dram offers a different lens on what modern Australian whisky can be. There's structure and smoke, fruit and funk, elegance and raw character. A few left-field bottlings keep things interesting. No two calendars are alike, with three mystery slots randomly assigned to each box for blind tasting and debate.
