The philosophy behind this range of wine, created by Danniel Amadio, was to produce finely balanced, fruit driven, and stylish drinking wines that offer a world of opportunity to the consumer with their complexity, drinkability and opportunity to share with friends.
From South Australia, the Amadio Black Label Shiraz 2019 vintage displays classic notes of plum jam, liquorice and rhubarb with subtle hints of vanilla on the nose. This works in harmony with layers of dark forest fruits and influence of mocha and spice on the palate that is derived from 16 months maturation in French oak. This embraces a finely structured palate and good balance of acid which combine with firm tannins that result in its rich full body structure. This intense alluring palate makes for a fantastic lingering finish. Best paired with hard cheeses like cheddar and grilled meats with vegetables.
