Togouchi Kiwami Blended Japanese Whisky is the latest limited edition release from Chugoku Jozo. The blended whisky displays its Scottish origins but still showing strong Japanese characteristics. The nose is both elegant and bright displaying notes of nuts and fresh grass. The palate brings flavours of chocolate, hazelnut, and honey, finishing with subtle spicy notes of pepper and nutmeg.
Togouchi whiskies specificity is to be aged, blended and diluted in Japan. Scotch whisky barrels aging is held in a unique location, a 361 meters long tunnel dug in 1970 that offers ideal maturation conditions.
