The Manara winery was established in 1950 in San Floriano and the owners have been running it for three generations, maintaning local wine-making traditions with growing experience, passion and a strong bond with this particular wine region. The progressive development and enlargement of the winery is due to the constant attention to the entire production process, from the vineyards to marketing, always focusing on a main goal: to obtain quality wines maintaining their typicity unchanged.
Vineyard for the Manara Postera Amarone della Valpolicella Classico sited in the district of San Pietro in Cariano at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level and with a south-west exposure. For this vineyard the selection of the Amarone grapes is not made. This wine takes its name from the founder of the winery Angelo Manara, who was called “Vecio Belo”. Corvina 70% - Rondinella 20% - Croatina, Oseleta 10%. Harvest carefully selected by hand for the process of drying that lasts on average 3 months. Pair this wine with Roasts, grilled meats, game and aged cheeses.
