Luxury in balance and detail. The Armand de Brignac Brut Gold was the first release from the house and remains its most recognisable cuvée. It is a multi-vintage blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier drawn from select crus across Champagne, marrying three harvests to create a layered and harmonious expression. The result is a wine of depth and freshness, where vibrant orchard and stone fruits meet fine pastry and citrus tones.
Fermented from the first pressing only, the wine carries a dosage of 9g/L that feels drier than expected thanks to its bright spine of acidity. Ageing for one year in French oak introduces subtle notes of vanilla, honey and toast, while the mousse remains persistent and refined. The palate moves from white cherry and apricot to salted almond and lemon zest, held together by texture and precision.
Every bottle of Brut Gold is hand-finished and polished, encased in metallic gold with a pewter Ace of Spades insignia. Each takes hours of craftsmanship to complete, with no two bottles identical. Behind the distinctive presentation lies serious winemaking intent, blending old-world Champagne technique with an unwavering pursuit of quality. This cuvée sits among the most consistent prestige blends for its clarity of fruit, silky texture and quiet power.

Ripe, well-balanced wine with toasty complexity and richness over apple and lemon fruit. A mature bottling from the Cattier family
Floral and ripe fruit notes on the nose, white cherry and dried apricot on the palate. Well-balanced, smoky and structured by firm acidity and lively mousse
Armand de Brignac is a luxury Champagne house owned by the Cattier family of Chigny-les-Roses, whose winemaking heritage in the Montagne de Reims dates back to 1763. The brand was revived in the early 2000s when the 11th generation of the family, led by Jean-Jacques and Alexandre Cattier, created Armand de Brignac as a prestige cuvée blending centuries of craftsmanship with a contemporary vision of Champagne excellence. The maison produces all of its wines from estate-owned vineyards spread across premier and grand cru villages, including Chigny-les-Roses, Rilly-la-Montagne and Ludes. Each bottle is a statement of artisanal production: all riddling, disgorgement and labelling are performed by hand. The striking metallic bottles, finished with a pewter Ace of Spades emblem, have become iconic symbols of craftsmanship and exclusivity, representing a modern reimagining of Champagne’s grand tradition.
Armand de Brignac’s philosophy is centred on precision, purity and the art of blending. The Cattier family believes that exceptional Champagne arises from meticulous vineyard management, careful selection of fruit, and limited production focused on quality over quantity. Each cuvée is composed from a blend of three vintages to achieve depth, balance and complexity that a single year alone cannot offer. The winemaking approach combines traditional handwork with refined modern control, preserving the integrity of the grapes while achieving a texture of remarkable finesse. Sustainability plays a growing role, with attention to soil vitality and minimal intervention in both vineyard and cellar. Every step — from harvest to presentation — reflects the maison’s commitment to expressing Champagne’s elegance through craftsmanship, patience and precision.
