Tyrrell's Wines is one of Australia's oldest family-owned wineries, with five generations of winemaking history dating back to 1858. The Winemaker's Selection
The Winemaker's Selection represents some of Tyrrell's most recognised wines, including Vat 1 Semillon, Vat 47 Chardonnay, Vat 9 Shiraz and Vat 8 Shiraz Cabernet.
First produced in 1963, Vat 1 has become a benchmark for age-worthy Hunter Valley Semillon, while Vat 47 holds an important place in Australian wine history as the country's first commercially released Chardonnay in 1971.
Together, the Vat wines reflect Tyrrell's longstanding approach to vineyard selection, regional expression and careful winemaking.
Single-Vineyard Wines
Beyond the Vat series, Tyrrell's produces a collection of single-vineyard wines that explore the character of individual Hunter Valley sites.
