Maison Saint AIX in Provence
Maison Saint AIX is a wine estate in the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation, set among the hills of Provence in southern France. Its 75 hectares of vines sit at around 500 metres altitude on limestone soils, where abundant sunshine, cooler conditions at elevation and the Mistral contribute to slow, balanced ripening and freshness in the finished wines.
The vineyards have been cultivated organically since 2009 and according to biodynamic principles, with the estate focused on expressing the character of its Provençal terroir through precise, fresh and elegant wines. Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault and Rolle are among the varieties grown across the estate.
AIX Rosé and the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence Style
AIX Rosé is the signature wine of Maison Saint AIX. Produced under the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation, it brings together Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault in the pale, dry style closely associated with Provence. Grenache contributes fruit and structure, Syrah brings complexity and spice, while Cinsault adds freshness and finesse.
The grapes are gently pressed with limited skin contact to achieve the wine's pale colour, followed by cool fermentation designed to preserve freshness and delicate aromatics. The resulting wine shows fresh red berries, citrus and white flowers, with a balance of roundness and freshness leading to a long, mineral finish.
From Half Bottles to 15-Litre AIX Rosé
One of the distinctive features of AIX Rosé is its breadth of bottle formats. The wine is produced from 375ml half bottles through standard bottles and large formats, extending all the way to the 15-litre Nebuchadnezzar.
The Kent Street Cellars range includes AIX Rosé across multiple vintages and formats, including 375ml, 750ml, 1.5L Magnum, 3L, 6L and 15L bottles. Larger formats make a particularly striking choice for entertaining, events and gifting, while the half bottle offers the same Provence rosé style in a smaller format.
Beyond AIX Rosé
Maison Saint AIX extends beyond its signature rosé, with the Kent Street Cellars collection also including AIX White and Beau Viva Alcohol Free Sparkling Rosé. Together, these releases broaden the range while retaining the fresh, contemporary character associated with Maison Saint AIX.
