Fruit is sourced from some of the Barossa Valley’s finest vineyard sites—including blocks dating back to 1945—with the Cabernet providing structure and aromatic lift, and the Shiraz contributing plush, spiced depth.
Matured for 18 months in a mix of new and seasoned Hungarian and French oak from Yalumba’s own cooperage, the 2022 vintage is rich and finely honed. Expect dark berries, red licorice and mint, layered with bay leaf, tobacco, spice and earth. It’s a wine with backbone and finesse, held by beautifully integrated tannins and acidity.
