Product Information
The Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé 2023 is a masterclass in balance and elegance, born from the renowned vineyards of Provence. Crafted from a carefully curated blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle, and Syrah, this rosé offers a captivating combination of fruit intensity, minerality, and subtle floral notes. Sourced from vines planted on clay-limestone soils, the wine benefits from a unique terroir, where the interplay of cool climates and warm Mediterranean sunshine enhances its aromatic complexity and vibrant freshness.
The 2023 vintage saw a challenging spring, with frost causing some damage, but the warm, dry summer allowed the vines to thrive, producing grapes of exceptional quality. The harvest, which took place between September 9th and October 1st, was earlier than usual, with a focus on preserving the health and freshness of the fruit. The result is a wine that is both vibrant and rich, with a refined texture and a beautifully long finish. The wine undergoes a combination of direct pressing and partial vinification using the “saignée” method, with 95% of the wine aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and 5% in oak barrels, allowing the wine to retain its purity while adding depth and complexity.
