Michael Hall Sang de Pigeon Blanc 2018
Michael Hall Sang de Pigeon Blanc 2018 is a white blend of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Sauvignon Blanc from the Eden Valley and Adelaide Hills. The Stonegarden vineyard in Springton was established in the 1860’s by Oscar Benno Seppelt. Post WWII, under the stewardship of the Hamilton family, a small block was co-planted to an eclectic mix of aromatic whites, a genuine field blend! Hand-picked, cold-soaked, fermented, barrel matured for 8 months and blended with 15% skins-fermented Sauvignon Blanc from Lenswood. Racy, zesty and intensely aromatic. Apple orchard. Elderflower. Orange blossom. Blackcurrant. Powder-dry finish.
