For most people, pub chat is nothing more than a pipe dream, half-baked ideas while sinking beers. But in 2022 two Sydney blokes did the unthinkable, turning their banter into a full blown business.

Sydney mates (and FELLR co-founders) Andy Skora and Will Morgan’s ears pricked up when the hard seltzer hype train landed in Australia. New York Times declare seltzer ‘the drink of summer’ and the figures were impossible to ignore. Between 2018 and 2019, sales of a well known seltzer had grown by 320% while beer sales by volume fell by 2%. The writing was on the wall. So instead of saying ‘we should make our own seltzer’ and then abandoning by the next round of schooies, they went ahead and did it.
