Sacred Peated English Whisky takes their whisky from bourbon barrels and re-casks them in sherry hogsheads for further maturation and flavour development. These hogsheads are old Pedro Ximenez casks from Bodegas Navarro in Montilla, Spain. This maturation process brings to life rich and nutty nuances giving a truly satisfying and deep single malt. There are flavours of log-fire smoke from a country pub, dried pineapple, clove spice, sea salt, sweet vanilla, and Christmas cake.
