Howard Park Miamup Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2023
Howard Park is a family-owned West Australian winery who have been crafting beautiful wines for over 35 years. They have an uncompromising commitment to quality, creating wines that are expressive of their regions’ terroir.
The Howard Park Regional Range was created as a collection of wines that are expressive of the outstanding varieties grown in Margaret River and the Great Southern. Each of these wines are created from blends to exemplify the outstanding varieties and styles grown in each region.
The temperate maritime region of Margaret River stretches a north to south distance of 100kms. Bound by oceans on three sides, subtle climatic and site differences exist over the five physiographic regions and fifteen diverse land form systems that comprise the region. From this diversity of locations an extensive array of varietal expressions in both Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon proliferate.
A tried-and-true combination with the Sauvignon Blanc unleashing its repertoire of citrus and tropical fruit while Semillon lends structure, texture and acidity creating a delectable, refreshing whole. Notes of passionfruit, guava, gooseberry, lemon thyme, and spearmint form an intricate and intriguing nose. The palate is characterised by a calm and steady acidity that glides along revealing ripe lemon, pineapple and wild herb nuances. An inviting wine with a fruit filled and cool toned nose leading into a warmer, weightier palate with a dry finish. Enjoy this wine today or cellar for the next few years.
