Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier Dunkel has a lush, cream-colored beer foam and inspires with its dark amber color with strong yeast cloudiness.

The sensual baroque appearance from Bavaria smells harmoniously of malt, with fine notes of fresh bread, nuts and caramel being discernible. The velvety-soft mouthfeel and the refreshingly tangy body make the dark wheat beer something very special.

The roots of the Franciscan brewery can be traced back to 1363. This year the "Bräustatt bey den Franziskanern" near the Residenz in Munich is being mentioned for the first time. The name can be traced back to the Franciscan monastery, which was diagonally opposite and which was probably the place where there was always a lively exchange.
