In 1896, Marcel Ott, originally from Alsace, discovered the enchanting Chateau de Selle in Taradeau, Provence. Once a place where olives, lavender, and mulberries thrived, this estate inspired him deeply. Benefiting from a unique microclimate, the wines produced here embody delicacy and elegance, while also possessing remarkable depth. In the 1930s, Marcel Ott's passion led him to the ancient Clos Mireille, perched above the sea in La Londe Les Maures, near Bregançon. The vineyards quickly yielded distinctive yet subtle wines. In 1956, the Ott family acquired Chateau Romassan in Bandol. After years of meticulous terracing and replanting, this estate now produces robust, harmonious and age-worthy wines. The renowned Cœur de Grain label reflects the genius of winemaking and pays homage to the elegant amphorae of centuries past. Today, 120 years later, cousins Jean-François and Christian Ott continue to honour their ancestor's profound love for Provence, dedicating their lives to the legacy of exceptional winemaking.

Provence rosé wines are renowned for their elegance, charm and vibrant character. Hailing from the picturesque region of Provence in southern France, these wines captivate the senses with their pale pink hues and delicate aromas. Offering a delightful balance between fruitiness and refreshing acidity, with a dry and crisp profile, they are the perfect companion for warm summer days or as a refreshing aperitif. Provence rosé wines embody the essence of the region, bringing a touch of sophistication and joie de vivre to any occasion.

Domaines Ott Chateau Romassan Bandol Rosé is an exquisite wine that delights the senses with its delicate and elegant aromas. The nose is initially graced with floral notes, which gracefully evolve into captivating citrus fruit and vine peach aromas with a gentle swirl of the glass. On the palate, this rosé offers a fresh and lively entrance, awakening the taste buds with its vibrant character. The flavors of grapefruit take centre stage, intertwining harmoniously with hints of white stone fruit. This seamless fusion of flavors creates a well-balanced and refined palate experience. The texture of the wine is soft, showcasing a well-structured and refined profile that is the result of a subtle balance between finesse and tension. This balance is a testament to the winemaker's skill and dedication to crafting a wine of exceptional quality. Domaines Ott Chateau Romassan Bandol Rosé comes from a region characterized by its unique terroir. The poor soil, consisting of limestone, sandstone and marine Upper Cretaceous marls, imparts distinct characteristics to the wine. The influence of the sea air from the Bay of Bandol adds a compensatory element, balancing the terroir's acidity and low rainfall. This rosé is a true expression of the vineyard's terroir, offering a captivating and refined tasting experience. It is a wine that can be enjoyed on its own or paired with a variety of dishes, making it a versatile choice for any occasion.
