Bullnose is made entirely from Syrah, allowing the variety’s floral perfume, vivid fruit and savoury spice to express the character of Hawke’s Bay without the addition of Viognier, Grenache or Mourvèdre. The 2023 vintage displays a striking crimson colour with a vivid purple rim and an aromatic profile centred on plum, raspberry, cherry, violets, cinnamon and spice. Its fruit is supported by finely structured, cashmere-like tannins that give the wine an elegant and harmonious texture.
