Alister Timms is making some of the very best expressions of cool climate wines in Australia - and he is also a lovely bloke!

Macedon is the coldest mainland wine region in the country, and with vineyards at altitudes of between 450 & 700 metres,  concentrated fruit purity while maintaining natural acidity are hallmarks of Alister’s wines.

Shadowfax Macedon Pinot Noir 2020 vintage and breathe and expanse yet displays a poise from seams of grown ripe tannins. Complexities galore with Campari spice and sandalwood interacting with dark plum fruits. A long and persistent palate yet light enough to bring you back for more. A powerful wine and a fine example of cool climate, high altitude Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir.
