Decanting young wines in Riedel decanters gives the wine a chance to bloom and attain a stage of development that normally requires years of aging " liberating the aromas, intensifying the fruitiness of the mid-palate and rounding out the texture. While decanting older wine, allows the wine to separate from any deposits that may have formed in the bottle over time.
The design of the Ultra is a nod to tradition with its swooping curves and wide base. The size of this decanter makes it perfect for young wines, as it offers a large surface area for the wine to be exposed to oxygen after decanting.
This decanter is designed for a single bottle of wine. This pack contains a single piece. This product is handmade. Please handwash only. Riedel recommends to use bottle cleaners to remove any stains from the decanter.
