The Chardonnay block covers just 0.75 hectares and was planted in 1986, giving the 2025 wine fruit from mature, dry-grown vines approaching four decades of age. Production is deliberately small, with low cropping helping concentrate the character of the vineyard. The wine shows white peach and citrus alongside subtle nougat and oak-derived complexity, while its naturally bright acidity keeps the profile taut and energetic. It is a distinctly site-driven expression of Tasmanian Chardonnay, combining fruit concentration with freshness and restraint.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe fruit is estate grown and whole-bunch pressed before undergoing spontaneous fermentation with natural yeast in 100% new French oak puncheons.
