The vines average around 60 years of age and grow on relatively shallow Bathonian clay-limestone soils marked by white marl. This distinguished terroir gives the wine both concentration and the mineral definition characteristic of the site. The 2023 combines generous Meursault texture with freshness, elegance and a finely structured profile. Almond, citrus, spice and subtle toasted notes emerge through a wine built for both immediate complexity and further development in bottle.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe grapes are harvested by hand and sorted in the vineyard before gentle crushing and pneumatic pressing. The wine matures on fine lees without bâtonnage, developing richness and textural depth while maintaining freshness and mineral tension. Before bottling, the individual barrels are racked into tank for blending, followed by light fining and filtration, with bottling timed according to the lunar and biodynamic calendar.
