Rising to around 300 metres, the vineyard is among the coolest Premier Cru locations in Chablis, with shallow clay soils over limestone marl and a south-facing exposure that allows the fruit to ripen while retaining pronounced freshness. Moreau-Naudet farms close to one hectare here, with vines replanted in 2001 using mass-selection material from Stéphane Moreau’s preferred vines. The site is generally harvested late because of its altitude and cool position, helping preserve the bright acidity that defines the wine.
