Domaine Michel Gros associates this terroir with wines that combine suppleness and depth while retaining the structure expected of Gevrey-Chambertin. The vineyard’s vines are reported to average approximately 45 years of age, contributing concentration and definition to the finished wine. Production is limited, with an average vineyard yield of approximately 40 hectolitres per hectare.
