The Aligoté comes from old vines planted toward the lower slopes, where deep clay-limestone soils retain considerable moisture and support the variety’s naturally lively profile. The 2024 vintage is particularly noteworthy because it is the first edition of this cuvée to be made in barrel rather than exclusively in tank. Citrus character emerges toward the finish, providing brightness and definition. The wine’s combination of rounded fruit, energetic acidity and moderate 12% alcohol makes it immediately approachable while retaining sufficient structure for short-term development.
