domaine-chanson-chablis-2024
Domaine Chanson Chablis 2024

The Domaine Chanson Chablis 2024 is a crisp, crystalline expression of 100% Chardonnay crafted from carefully selected plots across the famous Kimmeridgian limestone slopes of Chablis. Sourced from vineyards with optimal exposure, the vines benefit from cool-climate conditions that preserve bright natural acidity and intense mineral purity. The 2024 growing season presented demanding, cool conditions with lower yields, resulting in a classic vintage defined by taut focus, fresh fruit definition, and refined linear structure.

In the cellar, Domaine Chanson utilizes gentle whole-cluster pressing followed by temperature-controlled stainless steel fermentation to safeguard the variety’s delicate aromatic detail. Maturation on fine lees in stainless steel vats over 8 to 10 months enhances texture and mouthfeel while maintaining a vibrant, unoaked mineral backbone. The resulting wine is pale gold with emerald highlights, opening with fresh fragrances of white flowers, hawthorn, lemon zest, and green apple over a distinct chalky edge. The palate is dry, precise, and taut, delivering citrus and stone fruit nuances carried by lively acidity into a clean, enduring finish with salivating salinity. It pairs brilliantly with fresh oysters, grilled shellfish, goat cheese, and light white fish.

Tasting Notes
NOSE
– Ripe, floral and mineral
Hawthorn, white flowers, lemon zest, green apple, and subtle chalky minerality.

PALATE
– Dry, concentrated and vibrant
Crisp citrus, green orchard fruit, and refreshing acidity supported by a tight, linear structure.

FINISH
– Long and finely structured
Persistent grapefruit zest, wet stone, and a clean, saline mineral conclusion.

Finer Details:
Brand - Domaine Chanson
Style - White Wine
Varietal - Chardonnay
Country - France
Region - Burgundy
Appellation - Chablis
Vintage - 2024
ABV - 12.5%
Size - 750ml
Classification - Village

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0043/9258/3217/files/99809792-0497-4fc0-ad0e-8c5a95070afb.webp?v=1791775541
