These mature vineyards contribute depth, concentration and savoury complexity while retaining the bright fruit expression associated with McLaren Vale. The wine is made in a traditional manner, fermented in open tanks, hand plunged and matured in French oak hogsheads. This approach supports the natural structure of the fruit while adding measured oak influence and polish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 2023 vintage was shaped by cool and wet La Niña conditions, which led to a later start to harvest and naturally moderate yields.
